Church Food Drive

Every week you have showed up and have given food to those who need it in our community.

Church food drive. People are asked to place the items to be donated in a bag and place them in their trunk or hatchback. On sunday april 26th 2020 life church at south mountain hosted a drive thru food drive in the church parking lot. Drive through food drop off saturday april 18 next level church will have the opportunity to impact our community in this time of need with a drive through food drop off. The team prepared 150 food boxes for anyone needing food assistance.

The new zion temple church of god in christ outreach ministry hosted a food box drive thru event on saturday. Every thursday evening we host a food drive. As of this past week we are no longer accepting donations for food and have closed down our food pantry. 3 6 food drive and community food distributions.

It s because of you that we have been able to feed our community. The more groceries we get the more we are able to give away. This is the fifth year the church which also has a mesa campus is holding the bash. Donation times for the community food drive are 10 a m.

If you are in a position to give groceries toward this cause come participate. Abm staffer lisa robinson said the idea of the food drive arises from concern over the pandemic s economic impact on families including many in ahwatukee. Since we started you have donated over 50 000 pounds of food. People with gloves and masks will remove them from the vehicles to avoid contact during the pandemic.

A drive up food drive to benefit the port food pantry will be held from 10 a m. Volunteers collected monetary and food donations single serving packaged foods peanut butter water and blankets for our community in need. It s thanks to your generosity that we are able to keep our local food banks and pantries full. If you can t give groceries you can always donate towards the relief efforts.
